The story behind Dancing Dahlia is beholding the beauty of a freshly bloomed flower. Vibrant, certainly. But beyond that: a work of art.  I saw this breathtaking dahlia early one summer morning in North Carolina at my yoga and painting retreat and quickly painted it right after stepping off my mat.
