The golden sky at sunset. Children romping around in the beautiful blue clear water. A warm evening breeze. The sound of waves laps at the shore while you relax and watch them play.
Doesn’t that take you back to your favorite vacation? This is a time to pause and breathe.
What if you could have this every day?
Sunset at Saltpond is a painting of a Hawaiian sunset in a remote place that the locals visit.
The earth on the beach is different from the white powdery sand on the west coast of Florida. It’s red, kinda like Georgia red clay. And of course, the mountains and all the chickens everywhere set it apart even further. What captured my attention were the families there camping and getting in their last swim before the last light. The painting captures all of this emotion.
