A storm, the previous day, had broken a spell of humid days. It was much cooler and quite windy. I imagined the energy of what it feels like to have petals as hair waving in the wind. Then I set my paintbrush free on the canvas and created Wind Blown Sunflower.

Wind Blown Sunflower is bold and full of dynamic golden energy. It has depth in it with blacks, bronzes, golds and chartreuse.
