My Mama’s Sunflowers, 30×40 Acrylic, is a mother/daughter piece.
This imaginative sunflower painting was painted while traveling with my mom to Thomasville, Georgia. The Blue building you see is modeled after the bed and breakfast where we were staying, hence the name. The blue house can be seen in several of my paintings and this is the first time it appears and sunflowers are also featured on these pieces. (My symbol of empowerment.)
I painted it while outside, enjoying the cool breezes, sunny sunshine and enjoying my mom’s company.
