Coastal Morning Coffee Sunrise Hawaii – was painted right before the sun rose above the horizon. That time of the day when the darkness opens to that first bit of morning light. My walk to the pacific ocean at Shipwreck Beach was in complete darkness as I hurried to catch the first light with my morning cuppa. Kauai’s vibrant colors were not awake enough to sing and I chose a completely different palette on a 10×10 canvas… making it very easy to carry with me.
