Chakra Expressions is an oil and mixed media 30x40x1.5 gallery wrapped painting.

Here’s the story… What makes this opulent painting so very unique is that down the center of the piece, positioned very carefully, are fossils and sea glass which represent the seven chakras. The colors of the chakras are luxuriously painted with oils starting with the crimson red – all the way up to the white gold of the crown chakra.

The rich rainbow colors swirl all the way through mixing and mingling. I painted it as an abstract expressionist painting. It is so much more than that. It has so much spiritual energy and when lighted correctly the transparency of the linseed oil makes the painting have a glowing quality.
